Entrants are asked to create a 5-10 minute short film that utilizes the project’s music, upload them to YouTube and submit them to the contest landing page. Winners will receive cash prizes, and gear from the contest partners, Shure and Savage Universal.

Lewis Del Mar Release New Track ‘Puerto Cabezas, NI’ and Announce Album Release Show
Today, Lewis Del Mar released a new song, “Puerto Cabezas, NI,” in advance of their debut album out next Friday. The track, available as an instant download for album pre-orders, was premiered on Stereogum along with a piece that details the song’s origins and the band’s familial ties to where it was written in Nicaragua.
Lewis Del Mar also announced a free, hometown album release show at Rockaway Beach Surf Club.
Young the Giant Release Titus Was Born (The Making Of)
Young the Giant just released a behind the scenes look at the inspiration behind and creation of their newest album, Home of the Strange. Touching on the personal stories that helped shape the writing and recording of the album — each of the band members is either a first generation American or still holding a Green Card — the short documentary uses interview footage of each band member and video taken at the studio to trace back how the sound was shaped during the recording process.

Today, Cruel Youth released their debut EP, +30mg, featuring the singles “Mr. Watson,” “Hatefuck” and “Diamond Days” along with 4 additional new tracks. Cruel Youth Announce EP and Tour and Release New Single ‘Hatefuck’
Last week, Cruel Youth released their newest single “Hatefuck” and announced their debut EP +30mg, to be released on September 16. The track arrives as the follow up to Cruel Youth’s other singles, “Mr. Watson” and “Diamond Days.”
Cruel Youth also revealed that they’ll be touring with Kiiara this fall as direct support on her upcoming run, performing in major markets such as New York, LA, Chicago and more.
