Owl City (Adam Young) has released an acoustic version of “The 5th of July.” Young has reimagined the song with more personal lyrics. It precedes the artist’s sixth studio album, Cinematic, out June 1st, 2018.

Today, Owl City released the first official video from his upcoming album, Cinematic. “All My Friends” is the first part of a three-part story. Cinematic will be released on June 18th, 2018.

Today, Owl City (Adam Young) announced the pre-order details for his new album, Cinematic, which is due for release on June 1st, 2018. To reflect the visual theme of the album, Owl City will release the project in three separate “Reels” (EPs) which will each become available as the release date approaches. Fans who pre-order the album will instantly receive “All My Friends,” the first single off of Cinematic, and will automatically receive each Reel as it becomes available.

Owl City has released his newest single, a reimagining of “Waving Through a Window” from the hit Broadway musical, Dear Evan Hansen, combining the anthemic, theatrical power of the original with his own signature electronic sound.
Today, Owl City has shared, “Not All Heroes Wear Capes,” a new song inspired by Father’s Day and the personal relationship he has with his own. Along with the single, Owl City has launched a Father’s Day e-card campaign, offering fans the chance to design a custom card for the occasion and hear a sneak peek of the song.

Today, Owl City released a new holiday song, “Humbug,” for free on his website, garnering a huge amount of excitement from fans looking forward to more new music.
“Humbug” is the first new Owl City release since 2015 and allowed Adam to both tease upcoming Owl City tracks and thank his fans for their support during the 2016 Adam Young Scores project.

Today, Adam Young launched a short film contest that focuses on his 2016 scores project. Entrants are asked to create a 5-10 minute short film that utilizes the project’s music, upload them to YouTube and submit them to the contest landing page. Winners will receive cash prizes, and gear from the contest partners, Shure and Savage Universal.

Adam Young, also known for his work as Owl City, has just launched an an-going project that has the musician releasing a score a month throughout the year. Adam will be choosing events in history and arranging a unique score for each one, to be released on the first of the month. The project is a collaboration with visual artist James R Eads who will create custom artwork for each score.
