Brooklyn-based folktronic band Howard continue to attract buzz following the release of their debut LP, Religion. Lead single, “Money Can’t Buy”, has just surpassed 4.5 million streams on Spotify.
Howard, a blog favorite, has been featured on Consequence of Sound, Indie Shuffle and NPR to name a few. Most recently Howard received praise for their SXSW performance by Bob Boilen on All Things Considered.
Self-produced and crafted with homemade samples, Howard’s debut LP explores song-crafting through airy vocals, ethereal space, and hypnotic rhythm. Citing Other Lives, Philip Glass, Aphex Twin, and Fleet Foxes as influences, this band creates intricate and textured folk songs with a mood that provokes introspection.
Howard consists of Howard Feibusch (producer, guitar, vocals) and Myles Heff (bass) teamed up with Chris Holdridge (drums) and Alex Chakour (synths, guitar).
